A writer (André Holland, Moonlight) finds himself entangled in complex dynamics with his former partner, an art gallery curator (Nicole Beharie, The Morning Show), and his present love interest, a recently single mother (DeWanda Wise, She’s Gotta Have It), while leaning on the guidance of his closest friend (Roy Wood Jr., The Daily Show). Set in the ever-evolving backdrop of Brooklyn, New York, this contemporary love story made its debut at Sundance.
